Help us to help you by having the following details to hand: Vehicle details (Registration and VIN/Chassis number), owner/company details, symptom description and location of the breakdown.
Roadside Assistance, working with the RAC
Comprehensive Roadside Assistance comes free-of-charge for 3 years with any new Mercedes-Benz or 1 year with all Approved Used cars.
If you break down, we will send a qualified technician to try and fix the problem at the roadside. If this can’t be done, they will recover your car to the nearest Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer.
Cover is also available for customers with cars registered from 24 October 1998* and is automatically activated/renewed on completion of a service by a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer.

Technical breakdown[2]
If you can’t start your car or continue your journey for technical or safety reasons, we’ll come and get you up and running.
Minor mishap
If you suffer a puncture, lose your keys or run out of petrol, you’re covered
Accident assistance
Regardless of fault, we’ll get your car to the nearest Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer. Vandalism & Theft If your journey is impeded after vandalism, we’ll be there.
[1] Complimentary Roadside Assistance is available for 3 years with any new Mercedes‐Benz or 1 year with all Approved Used vehicles. Your roadside assistance cover is then renewed annually, free of charge, following completion of a full service at a Mercedes‐Benz Authorised Repairer.

Renewing Your Cover for up to 30 years
To maintain Roadside Assistance cover after the first 3 years, simply service your car at a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer.
You’ll receive a renewal notification to confirm cover has been extended for another 12 months on completion of a full Mercedes-Benz Recommended Service.*

Rescue Assist
The latest innovation in vehicle safety.
Rescue Assist is a safety system from Mercedes-Benz that uses QR (Quick Response) Rescue Codes to give emergency services faster access to critical information at the scene of an accident.
At an accident scene, emergency services need certain information about the vehicle involved – for example, its structural framework or the location of hazardous systems such as batteries and fuel tanks – to enable a safe, fast rescue operation.
All new Mercedes-Benz models are fitted with Rescue Assist QR Rescue Codes during production. For cars manufactured from 1990 onwards, Mercedes-Benz is offering a free-of-charge retro-fit service.
